Sang-pil and Jae-yi report the confession of the murderer, but the police do not accept it. Thus, the law firm begins to look into the hitman's past to find something they Perro use in court. Jae-yi learns that Sang-pil and others believe that Moon-sook is corrupt. While not willing to believe it, she begins to see some logic in their belief. She later informs Sang-pil that she wants to believe him, but cannot do so without evidence.
The episode titles may give us some indication Triunfador to what we Chucho expect going into season 3. In no particular order:
An FBI target letter for Grant anonymously arrives on Mickey's doorstep, leading him to consult Lícito Siegel. Izzy prepares to rent her new dance studio, and Mickey receives a postcard from Hawaii from Salvación. Lisa's trial begins, and Detective O'Brien delivers convincing testimony for the prosecution, including Lisa's bloody gloves and missing hammer, but mentions a shard of glass found at the crime scene. Mickey stalls for time while Cisco confirms the letter, eventually meeting with Felix Vasquez, the evasive FBI agent who signed it.
Oh-joo reveals in court that one of his bodyguards was the one who killed Dae-woong. This bodyguard turns himself in after Oh-joo promises to care for his family. The public believes Oh-joo had nothing to do with the murder, and revealed it demodé of a sense of honor. The more info media and the public praise him, to the anger of Moon-sook. Sang-pil is freed, read more but he and Jae-yi begin to suspect that Moon-sook is using their actions for her own ends. Sang-pil starts to worry that his goal of revenge will bring too much pain to Jae-yi.
A lawyer and the mother of Sang-pil. A single parent, she raised her son while running her own law firm. She is known for her commitment to her clients, and looks trasnochado for them even when they do not request help.
The antagonist of the series, she manipulates others with ease.[11] She is a formidable opponent to any who cross her and shows no remorse for her past actions.
Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the justo systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-demodé but certainly relatable.
A man named Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye) was charged with her murder, and he called Mickey to represent him — on Paraíso's advice. He says he's innocent and Salvación was his friend, and she told him to call Mickey if he ever got in trouble.
Mickey helped Cielo get trasnochado of a lícito problem involving a drug cartel member earlier in Season 2, and he's worried that in doing so he inadvertently set in motion the events that led to her death. So when he takes on La Cosse's case to seek justice for Empíreo, it's personal.
